Frankie Avalon at Hollywood Teen Movies:
"Dr. Goldfoot & The Bikini Machine" is a campy spoof of the 60's secret agent movies, featuring many of the stars of the popular "Beach Party" films. At times it is silly but nevertheless loads of fun. Vincent Price plays mad scientist Dr. Goldfoot, who invents an army of bikini-clad robots. They are programmed to search for rich men & persuade them into handing over their fortunes. Avalon & Hickman set out to stop Dr. Goldfoot from reaching his selfish objectives. The opening theme song sung by The Supremes is a hoot & you could be still humming it days later. Dr. Goldfoot was so popular at the box office that the Italian's got in on the act with a sequel titled "Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs". Vincent Price reprised his role but this time Frankie Avalon was replaced by rival teen heartthrob Fabian Forte.  Both Dr. Goldfoot films are required viewing for 60's fans.
